Individual business. Graphic design company
offering services for conventional design, banknotes and other fiduciary
security printing documents. I have managed design teams in companies in
different countries in Mexico, Canada, and more recently in France for 7 years
at Oberthur Technologies. During my career, I have worked with projects in a
variety of sectors such as the furniture industry, the mechanic and electronic
industry, health, culture, food, security printing, corporate communications
and publishing.



2004 - 2010

Oberthur Technologies

Head of the Design Department. Our team was
a key player to get access to Central Bank tenders and win consequential
banknote, passport and ID card printing contracts with a high degree of
sophistication and technical constraints in very short deadlines. This included
the development of new projects for banknotes and other fiduciary documents for
various countries of the world, as well as certain corporate internal
communication documents.



2000 - 2003

Canadian Bank Note Co. Ltd.

As security document designer such as
banknotes, passports, visas, ID cards, our team collected important contracts
for printing banknotes, fiscal stamps and passports for the company. I was also
very involved in producing the presentations of the new banknote family for the
Bank of Canada, the licence issuing organism in Alberta’s province, and other
corporate documentation.



1998 - 2000

GMD Diseño S.C.

Partner of a company offering conventional
graphic design services. I was the manager of a team of 4 designers tackling
our clients’ demands within different industry sectors such as restaurants,
publishing, measuring equipment, cultural and social events, etc. Among others
we were the design agency for Club de Industriales, the centre of the executive
spheres of Mexico; we also worked for a group of restaurants, we placed the
signage system at the Hotel Meridien Cancun; we made a book of Mexico’s best
restaurants’ recipes, etc.



1994 - 1998

Freelance designer

Independent graphic designer working for
clients in a wide variety of sectors, the furniture industry, the real state
industry, the mechanical industry, the food industry, etc. I was a designer for
Wonder, one of the brands of the group Bimbo, I produced several packagings for
their products; also worked with Lopez Morton producing their furniture
catalogues, brochures and other documents; for Cicasa, a company manufacturing
equipment and water measuring systems, we elaborated their corporate identity,
applications, internal communications and website conception.
